Museum Café and Store

Here you can enjoy the view with a good cup of coffee, either by the fireplace or out in the open air. In the shop, you will find books and a selection of unique gifts.

Café

Our café is located just inside the entrance of the museum building. The space is bright and welcoming, with beautiful views over Valen. In winter, the café serves as a cosy, enclosed space with a large fireplace at its centre. In summer, we open up the building towards the outdoor seating area, which is sheltered on the south side of the museum.

We offer coffee, cakes, and light meals, as well as a selection of kiosk items. For groups who book in advance, we can also provide dinner service.

Museum store

In the museum shop, you will find a varied selection of gifts inspired by nature. We also offer a range of books on local history, the Second World War, and nature and birdlife. In addition, we sell honey, sheepskins, and other goods from local producers.
